Description

Penja white pepper comes from the tropical vine Piper Nigrum, grown in Cameroon. It is therefore a “real” pepper and is protected by a PGI. It is a pungent pepper, but not aggressive, with smoky, musky and woody scents. Good to know: this white pepper is obtained from the red pepper of Penja from which the pericarp (the skin that surrounds the grain) is removed.

4 times more powerful in aroma than a classic pepper, it is used on white meats and fine fish which it enhances, very pleasant on eggs and vegetables, it is excellent on oysters.

Use: it is used in marinades. 5 minutes at the end of the cooking of a dish it exhales its perfume by agreeing with the flavours of the dish to sublimate its savour.
